Registered Nurse - Nuclear Medicine

We are seeking a Registered Nurse on a permanent part-time basis to support a busy Nuclear Medicine department in Bundaberg. This role involves supporting cardiac imaging services, including myocardial perfusion scans, within a specialised medical imaging environment.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team providing patient care, monitoring and procedural support across diagnostic and cardiac imaging services.

Key Responsibilities

• Cardiac monitoring and patient assessment during procedures

• Support myocardial perfusion scans and cardiac stress testing

• IV cannulation and medication administration

• Patient preparation, education and post-procedure monitoring

• Monitor and respond to adverse reactions

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

• Support safe and efficient department workflow

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• Strong cardiac monitoring and clinical assessment skills

• IV cannulation competency

• Experience in CCU, ICU, cardiology, procedural or medical imaging environments highly regarded

• Nuclear Medicine experience beneficial but not essential

• Strong communication and patient care skills
